While that image does not display the products — you are only showing categories and subcategories — and the problem was products not showing in categories.

But, yes — late last night we found from elegant themes that the theme template had gotten changed (I believe overwritten by a global for the default), and that there needs to be a specific WooCommerce category template that has NO body defined for the template.

So that this is documented for others, see:

If you use templates for a theme, WooCommerce will NOT display categories unless there’s a specific template set up for WooCommerce category pages that removes the body.

Hi,

I don’t believe this is a plugin conflict — but something else. I’ve tried disabling plugins, but if I disable everything, then the site has a critical error. I compared the plugin list to what I had a few months back, and made some adjustments to the point that I cannot see a difference in plugins from what was the working site, and now.

I tried switching to Storefront theme, but got a critical error. I tried disabling the child theme, and using standard divi, but the categories still didn’t work.

Below is system status.

Hoping you can point me to something that would reveal anything — as it’s made our site completely useless. I’m totally willing to take the blame for doing something wrong, I just have no idea what it is!!

Just a tag on to this … a request to have a setting/feature to just turn off the first page. I did see that one can add:

body:not(.paged-*) .entry-subtitle {
    display: none !important;
}

but it seems that simply having:

[nextpage firstpagetitle=""]

or even better…

[nextpage title="" toctitle="Introduction"]

for anywhere, would be soooooo useful.

Any chance you want to update the plugin so that others can benefit?

Since I wanted to use the free version before spending money on the Premium (not even sure if features are necessary), I think that I’m at a standstill on this, right? No work arounds?

Would be great at some point to define, as a setting not controlled by the wordpress preference, the number of days in a week. For example, 5 instead of 7.

This is very cool — and core for us. Any way to display different calendars with different colors?

I think your idea of a full dropdown would be great. Although I would suggest a popup date picker instead of a dropdown menu if possible.

In the meantime, is there a way to specify a specific date (week or month) to display?

See if the issue is only for https urls — and not http. If so, check the path of your ssl cert — in the WPRSS settings. Took me months to figure out that this was the issue for me.

Definitely check the WPRSS error log.

I don’t if this is your issue — but I had the same thing going on, and it took me months to figure out. For me, it was the path to the SSL certificate — which you can see in the settings for WPRSS. I had been told that no one ever changed it — even says that in the documentation — but that was the fix for us.

If you find that your http feeds work, and the https ones don’t — and the WPRSS debug log says anything about curl errors and such, this could be it.
