    Thanks for such a speedy response.

    Basically I downloaded WordPress into a folder and then entered wp-admin/install.php in my browser and this took me straight to the WordPress forum.

    I had hoped that once I had downloaded WordPress the installation would start almost automatically but this was not the case, and I can’t see what else I can click on in the file download to start the installation process.

    I am very seriously thinking of taking advantage of WordPress Web hosting and presume this would also need me to get this download working.
