OK, I changed the aspectautoadj to ‘false’ and in both IE and Chrome, the black screen seems to have disappeared – hooray!

Unfortunately, the video does not autoplay until I click on the video.

To be honest, it would be nice to have auto animation but I would rather have things as they are now instead of a black screen.

Unless you can suggest a fix, I’ll put up with this blip for now and maybe re-visit it in the future as I have taken too much of your time already.

Two steps forward, one step back ??

What I am doing is I am creating an SWFPut Video in a WordPress Post and saving as ‘draft’ for future reference and then copy/pasting the shortcode into the appropriate pages.

I changed the disablebar to ‘true’ to hide the controls and have also edited the css to hide the border.

When I view the pages https://www.mouse.uk.com/support & https://www.mouse.uk.com/contact in both IE and Chrome, the video window is black. I ctrl+F5 and the video shows? If I could just overcome this ‘blip’ I think the video will be perfect. Seems a lot of work for a small mouse doesn’t it? ??

We are certainly moving forward here !!

I created a new post https://mouse.uk.com/swfput-test-1/ and used the normal WordPress editor and after checking the HTML5 Primary Video box, I can now see the video.

Using the Avia Content Editor that is bundled with the Enfold template, although I hit the SWFPut Media button, it looks the same as the standard ‘Add Media’ button.

Therefore I had to create the video in standard mode, cut the html code and then paste it into the Avia Content block so it appeared on the right. It’s a bit of a workaround but at least I can edit the other pages as well now.

One last question please – can you tell me how I can remove the border / box around the video and also remove the controls bar as well, please?

I have created a new post https://mouse.uk.com/swfput-test/ and used the ‘standard’ WordPress Editor.

I followed your instructions exactly by selecting the ‘Add Media’ button and using ctrl to select the 3 versions of video, but now I see an ‘Oops there is a URL issue’ on the video?

I have tried several combinations of the URL but none displays. I used the same URL in a browser and the video played?

Can you see what is wrong please?

I originally tried both ‘Add Media’ and ‘Add SWFPut Media’ buttons, but they look exactly the same. The WordPress template we are using is ‘Enfold’ which allows us to add the ‘Avia Layout Builder’ (a feature to be able to arrange the post layout with slideshows etc). Could this be the reason we cannot see the SWFPut options when we hit the pencil icon? We can see it on the bottom of the page though so I have added the following in the ‘HTML5 video URL’s’ field as instructed however, the video defaults to .mp4 if one has been added.
