I will be running a duplicate test site when the actual site is live so will be testing upcoming major WP updates before release on that first so will have plenty of time to spot any potential issues.

Most of the site works using my own private plugin developed for this project but your plugin provides the extra bit of magic on the front end, and really by far the best method that exists.

Ok I can easily edit your main plugin file to hide any tabs I want, would just have to add a filter for role as you suggest. Only then will lose that on the next update and have edit again, so that would work but there may be a mmore efficient solution?

I was just trying with css and can hide the nav wrapper with css from within code inspector but the same css does not work in my live css editor so I am guessing that is being over ridden by your plugin.

I am developing my own plugin for this project that handles a lot of functions but using your plugin would be perfect if I could hide the tabs.

As you say a filter to test for role or capability would do the job best.

What kind of support are talking? Can I put my email here so you can contact me directly?

I just came across this issue, any chance of a future fix for this? I just opened a support ticket on your website but meanwhile figured it must be a template related issue and then found this thread.

I can place a menu using a different method but as Swayam said it is nice to use the templates for a header, allows easy editing and styling for a client.

Just been in touch with Tom from GP and what would be needed is for it to be added as a feature by Elementor, as Builder Beaver do with shortcode.

Can I add this as a feature request? Any place to do that or will this thread be noticed by the devs?

Thanks Dasigna. New to GP but have the Pro, thought the generate page header was just for custom header on individual pages rather than site wide.

How does that work Dasigna? I am using GP but I don’t see how you can display elementor created row in a GP hook area?

Or do you mean you could create a one row page, save that and then hook the page content into a hook area? Sorry if I am missing the obvious!

Hi, I have been using Beaver Builder and there it is now possible to create say a row of modules, then save as a template, then use a shortcode to display that in any available hook area.

That way you can have anything created in BB appear above the header for example, which then would become the actual visible header if the theme header was disabled.

Only just started playing with Elementor and it looks great, would be smashing if something like that couldhappen in the future.

Figured it out, depends upon fetching titles which is currently based on the php code to display post/parent/grandparent

So just needed to add to that to include /greatgrandparent level

That is fixed but is in the plugin code so would be updated with plugin update so I will have to sort into custom functions I guess.
