In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Upload Media Files Has Stopped WorkingHi David
I have sorted it. It was another Plugin causing the problem. The Plugin was Enhanced Media Library by wpUXsolutions which I have now deactivated. I had tested this Plugin but in the end I decided not to use it. I guess it is useful to known that the two do not work together.
Thanks for your help. I will now give you a good review. Keep up the good work!!

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Upload Media Files Has Stopped WorkingHi David
Thanks for the quick response. I have had a quick look your suggestions. I will have more time tonight.
However if I uncheck the “Enable Media Grid Enhancements” and “Enable Media Manager Enhancements” boxes and try uploading again from a Page or Post (via Add Media) then this works ok. However on the Media Library tab “No Items Are Found”. In other words no media is shown on the screen. If I look in the Media Library from the main WordPress screen then all the media is there!
Regarding … You wrote “When I am in a page or post and I click on select files”, what exactly do you click on? Do you mean you click “Add Media” to get the Media Manager popup window, then “Upload Files” and then “Select Files”? That’s the only way to get to a “Select Files” button that I can find. … the answer is yes.
Regarding … You wrote “when I had deactivated the Plugin and then tried to add media again all the media had disappeared”. Do you mean that media are no longer displayed in the Media Manager popup window? … the answer is yes.
I will provide more info after I have done some more testing tonight.
Kind Regards
NeilHi
Just to let you know that this problem still exists even after the last few updates have been applied.

NeilHi
I noticed the new update (3.0.76) and applied to my site. Even after deactivating and then reactivating the plugin the issue still exists. For now I have deactivated the Plugin until this issue is fixed.
Thank you.

NeilHi Cais
Ok I will try and explain. The Slideshow is shown in a Sub Header. This is defined in Templates-Subheaders. The code for the “Home” subheader is … [slideshow name=’Home’ pagination_align=’right’ pagination_type=’images’ pagination_button_width=’80’ pagination_button_height=’30’/]
The images are just stored in the wordpress media gallery.
The “Home” Slideshow is defined in Slideshows where each slide is added to the slideshow as well as dimensions, scale, autoplay and pagination.
There are no tags or categories involved and does not take featured images from specific posts.
My theme is a premium theme provided by Dottoro.
Thank you for your help.

Unfortunately it had no effect. I have removed the code form my themes functions.php for now until we find a solution.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Gallery Not FoundHi Jeremy
I have worked out that it is not my theme that is causing the problem. It is something to do with NextGen and Jetpack. If I deactivate either one of them the problem is resolved. So Jetpack deactivated with NextGen activated is ok and also Jetpack activated with NextGen deactivated is ok. However if both of them are activated then the gallery slideshow disappears.
What is my next step? Thank you for your help.
