Thanks for your response. I finally got it going with help from the Just Host staff. Apparently there was something strange going on with the database. Although it was there, the browser didn’t seem to see that.

Again, thanks for trying to set me straight. I’ll learn . . . eventually!

This site is an add on domain name. So do I have to type in the name of my main domain first? I have tried doing this, but all that happens is a 404 error. I contacted my web host, and was told that it means the folder or files have been deleted. I haven’t deleted anything from that site’s folder. From the view in the file manager, everything seems to be there.

Also, I have tried to manually upload the new version of wp to a new domain and get the same results. What could I be doing wrong?

I use Just Host, and have one blog there. Which I only just put up. I plan to convert all but one of my 14 sites to blogs. They are quick to respond to issues. I just got off live chat with Victor for an issue unrelated to WordPress. Figured I’d come here for those problems. I’m happy there. Probably won’t be changing anytime soon.
