In reply to: Two tiny layout changesWell the bizarre thing is I can’t find any reference to it on the Cyberchimps website (whom apparently developed it).

In reply to: Slow Loading SpeedThanks for responding.
I am using 123 reg as the host. They have said there’s no current issues with their service, but did advise that WordPress works better on Linux servers (where their’s are Windows based).
Should I add that to the config.phb anywhere in particular, or can it go at the bottom?
I’ve installed WP Super Cache, but that itself is creating issues. Two popups have come up the first being: Fancy permalinks are disabled.
Please enable it first, then re-attempt to enabling enhanced disk mode. However going into this there is no option to enable it.
Also have:
File and directory creation tests failed
Clicking into the task brings up the following:
Could not mkdir: \\web-123win\winpackage22\photographerfilm.co.uk\www.photographerfilm.co.uk\web\content\Site/wp-content/cache\test_dir
No idea what that means or what to do.
Thanks

In reply to: Stuck at this point during installationWould I have to amend the WP-config file first if I was to use any of the other databases?
Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Stuck at this point during installationConfirmed that it was correct. I have re-uploaded the wp stuff and it at least gets me to the database connection details. However when I enter the DataBase info from I’d created from my wp-config.phb file, it comes back as incorrect details/local host is down.
I’ve confirmed the localhost isn’t down, and that I’ve got 2 additional DBases on the account. Neither of those I created. Would using either of those work or would it cause me (further) issues?

In reply to: Stuck at this point during installationNo Index.HTML.
Cleared the browser cache. No dice.
Contacted my hosting provider – no issues with my domain name or my hosting, and it is pointed correctly.Still getting the above message on the site.
Currently the WP files are in /web/content/site. This is correct, right?

In reply to: Accessing admin/finishing installation WP/123-RegHaving the EXACT same issues with 123-reg. After uploading via filezilla, I go to refresh my site and it keeps coming up with:
“Welcome to your new 123-reg website!
If you’ve uploaded your site but are still getting this welcome
page try doing a SHIFT+Reload or a CTL+F5 – this will clear the cache.Good luck with your new website!
You can delete this page or change it’s content.”
Any suggestions?

In reply to: Stuck at End of InstallationHi, thanks for responding.
That isn’t the case. The domain name and the hosting is both being done by 123 Reg.
Any other suggestions?
