Hello, I have the same issue on axlelock.cz. Please help me, it’s very annoying. Thank you!
Hi Abz,
I changed the display settings according to your advice, and it came back to normal, styles are applied, and I see only upcoming events on the front end which is great.
So I’m going to use version 5.x of your plugin as long as possible ??. I’d like to try the new version, too, but now it breaks my front end view of events, and I still don’t know why. I’ll try to wait some time for updated versions.
Thanks for your help!
Regards,
JiriHi Abz,
it made no difference. I cleared Cloudfire cache completely, also the WP Fastest Cache’s cache, still the same result. I have an older version of TEC but new design stays.
Best regards,
JiriHi Jaime,
I deactivated and deleted the plugin before downgrading. The problem persists. I see old events in front-end plugin, and it broke design of all single events or list or events (meaning it was replaced with 6.0 version look which I really don’t like). I had many elements styled in a custom CSS, and now it looks differently. I’m quite frustrated now because nothing of the suggested solutions worked, and even downgrading is not working. I would gladly use the previous version of your plugin, and use it forever but I don’t know how I can get the “old” look of events or list of events when there’s only new design everywhere. Please let me know how can I do this and where could be a problem. I did nothing with my database, didn’t migrate (because I can’t for unspecified error), deactivated and deleted version 6.0.x, have an older version installed, so why I keep seeing the new design? Thank you!
Regards,
JiriOh, and I noticed that when I first tried to downgrade to previous version, all wentback to normal, including events on the front end, there were only upcoming events as they should be. But I wanted to give a try to the new version, so I updated again to version 6.0, and now with each downgrade (I tried 2 times) I only get the look of the new version. It’s weird that after the first downgrade it went back to normal but not any more with my other tries. I hope it’s clear, sorry for my English.
Any chance that it could be caused by my theme? I use Kingster Theme from Goodlayers.

Hello Jaime,
thanks for your help but I’m still unable to go to the Settings. Either from Events-Settings or Plugins-TEC-Settings. It always brings me back to the Dashboard. I don’t know where could be a problem. I read about the migration from the link you provided, disabled Cloudflare again, together with WP Fastest Cache plugin, it still won’t work with these options on or off. I have a sufficient version of PHP. This all started with 6.0.x upgrade.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] After update the plugin shows old events two years backIt seems that the issue is caused by my theme’s plugins update because I used my backup to restore all plugins, and updated TEC only, and everything was fine. When I updated the theme, the issue reappeared. I contacted the support, and they are working on the issue right now. Thanks all for your help.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] After update the plugin shows old events two years backI tried to install an older version of The Events Calendar but the problem persists. I guess it could be an issue of a theme (which was also updated recently).
I tried to change the order to descending so that I see the newest events first but this is insufficient solution for me, I need to see upcoming events only.
Please let me know if there’s something new, thanks!
