I am having similar troubles today — I’m going to cry! After updating several plugins and having trouble with pretty permalinks, which I found on the boards that I was to reset the permalinks to basic, save it, and then I could reset to a custom setting. And now I can log in and see the website, but not the back end of any page or post. I have the tool bar at the top, but when I click on the dashboard or edit page, I get this message: “Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home6/saintray/public_html/wp-content/themes/platformpro/core/library/class.layout.php on line 163” throughout the whole page (with ascending line numbers). Unfortunately, the site did not “correct itself” after 2 hours as jrkreke’s did.
I don’t know how to get to the dashboard so that I can reset the permalinks again or deactivate the plugins.
