The code works well, but it’s possible replace the “optional” text just for the date field? the current filter replace it also in order details, which I have intentionally as an optional.

Forgot to say, the theme used in the store is Flatsome. I think it may be relevant.

Update: I was able to do it by copying the code given in this answer and replacing product_cat an Selec a Category with the name of the taxonomies I was using in the dropdowns and the corresponding label.

In any case, this would be a nice feature to add in a future release.
