Concerning your questions:

A: The page does indeed load as expected now. I do not know what happened to be honest, but a few days ago all the pictures and texts were not displayed correctly. All good now!

B: I think I understand what you are saying. So, to be clear, here is what I did:

I am using Polylang actually. The website tripintouchapp.com was originally created in English. Then I used Polylang for the Italian version of each page.

So basically now tripintouchapp.com is in English and tripintouchapp.com/it shows the Italian version of the site.

Through the Yoast plugin, I created meta descriptions in Italian on each Italian page, including the home page.

I’d like to add a ”sub-question” here ?? Is what I did the best thing in terms of SEO or is it better to change anything?

C I’m aware of that, but here is the situation: I noticed an offer from a third party that was offering Yoast SEO Premium and other premium plugins in a single package, that I purchased. I have already contacted the support @ Yoast but they suggested me to post my issues here on this forum, as I had not purchased the Premium Plugin from Yoast itself. I thought it all made sense to be honest ??

Here are then the main problems I am facing now:

1 Meta description in English for the Home page and all the other pages in Italian as you can see here https://pasteboard.co/IFqEEgY.png

2 I noticed as well that if I am viewing the website in Italian and I am on the Homepage, the website doesn’t switch to English if I click on the flag. On the other hand, if I am viewing any other page from the menu (for instance Trip in Team) it switches to the English version of it when I click on the flag.

Is it possible that it’s because I’m using Google Italia?!? Otherwise I can’t explain that. And in any case it’s not that nice for an Italian user to look for Trip in Touch and see that there are Italian and English links mixed…

Also, I just noticed that the english homepage ( https://www.tripintouchapp.com ) is completely messed up now in terms of colors, links and styles. Maybe there is some conflict between plugins?
