@ xdesi, the logo link isn’t much of a worry as it’s still clickable on the very top area.

If you look at the left side where it says contact details, the email and web address should be clickable where as now it’s just plain text.

Hey,

Shopp plugin is just completely annoying to use. The landing page has 3 rows; new product, best seller and sale page and it only shows 3 products max. You have to tweak the template files to create a custom landing page for all your categories to show all the products, again annoying.

It doesn’t work great outside the box because it means we have to tweak the themes to show the products.

I think I’ll be making a move to wp-ecommerce definitely, seems more robust and un-complicated.

I actually just managed to login via .. wp-login.php which worked.

I deleted a few plugins i didnt need so I think that fixed it.

Ah basically, I’m not sure how to install it. I dont know what SSH is for but is it a straight forward installation for example:

1. Download WordPress File Zip
2. Upload Via Ftp
3. Config database details etc?

I’m confused because I was using windows web server which was so easy to use but is there anything i should set up with unix before installing wordpress?

Thanks for the tips! It was All-in-One SEO, I mis-spelt a letter in the home title box. Almost deleted the link off google but with abit of luck and patience, it took 5 days until it was corrected on search engines! ??

I’m not exactly sure how to make that content display. For instance the small thumbnail posts with description text beside it. But i dont want an exact copy of the link page I mentioned above, I’ve been stuck on this problem for months now. Its just that one solution i really need to kick start the website.

Okay I kind of see what your trying to say. Which other themes are refering to exactly.

Ah ok, I need to know how to layout the thumbnail posts on the home page, and the layout of the page from the second link. Although I would like to know how to do it on a normal blog theme.

The website I’m currently using is a gallery theme from smashing magazine which already has thumbnail posts laid out.
