If you have a look at the urls both pages are pointing to the home page. I havent used your theme but you could set up a custom menu and assign it to main navgation using the about us as your first page. That should work. Only takes a couple of minutes and keeps you out of the code.

Hi Jerry – i fixed my issues mentioned 4 months ago and it has started again, i have most months twice. I had to reinstall the plugin after a few issues on the site. Is there an update available to yet. Just seen that you were back on this yesterday – what a coincidence. I was just searching for how I fixed it last time.

Did you ever resolve this I have no February but 2 Marches? Any help would be great..

I’m sorry, I dont quite get what you mean. Is this not .htaccess file controlling WordPress. There were the old files from the previous site in with the WordPress files.

I think I see what you mean – the old site was designed in front page – is that right.

So I guess I need to re-write the .htaccess with the usual WP one.

I was going to use Directory Press but this week I seem unable to get the site up which doesn’t look good. Does any one have any more feedback on it or any other directory sites..

Why didn’t I think of that – too busy panicking. Is it just a case of re-writing the template and the theme will pick it up when it’s dropped in..

Cool I’m with the client later – I installed an older version of WP in the end. I’ve got most working now but I’m left with an issue in the way permalinks are written if you try to open an item in WP_ecommerce. It may be something I’ve overlooked at my end but if you could looks that would be tops..

Thats great – they are on 5 but it still didn’t work. I had a message to say that the libary was different to the server version of SQL and it may cause issues. Do you think it could be that?

Wow – I didnt realsise that plugin existed. I think I’ll have to be straight and explain my lack of knowledge on the subject but thanks for the info on the import-html plugin. That’ll come in very handy now I know of it.

Yes I do. I have a chap who set up a site himself and was looking to bring over all of his existing site pages and there is a lot there. He doesn’t like the back end anyway.
I’m going to turn it into a business directory so I have advised him he needs WordPress…
Is this straightforward to do?? I want to appear to have at least researched it – I could find much online..

Hi there, my site should go online today but I’m still having issues with the above. I’ve since found out that it has something to do with the background colour I’ve set for the body in my css file – If I switch this off the images disappear from my slide show and that comes through is the background colour of my main page. Does anyone have any ideas – I’m totally confused.
