I have the same problem. It seems like the plugin can’t write the .htaccess. I see “SAVING HTACCESS” message with green background, but nothing happens after that and .htaccess is unchanged. Any solutions?

I can’t because I use star ratings with every comment (review site).

Yes, I can upload, overwrite, download with normal FTP client. Tried with the same username, the same folders & files, and it works.

I have similar problem, but mine is worse. I can’t upload anything. Something must be wrong with FTP. First I thought it can’t connect to FTP, but it can: if I manually upload a few files, and then try to export media library, I get the message that the files already exist. So the FTP connection exists, but the plugin can’t upload for some reason. I get this message for all the files:

I also get FTP error message when testing:
Test failed. Error: Unable to upload file: /home/users/web/xxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxx/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/test_file_8a32e6bed477ce466943e0ed03625275.

Any ideas? I tried to change the static library’s chmod to 777, and no change.

Yes, but how can I solve the problem? I did nothig with cookies.
