Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Ok, I have gone to the link and embarrassingly don’t understand it, so was wondering if you or someone else could help me any more Wuth it please? Is it possible for someone to go in to my blog and give me a new password or something? I only know very basics like writing blogs and a bit of editing. Also, do you have any idea why it is showing my old blog instead of my new blog that I’ve been doing since last year? Thought it was very strange.

I’ve tried the lost my password link on the login page to reset my password and It’s saying that It’s not recognizing either my user name or my email address. So am a bit worried about what to do. I’m more then happy for people to try and do something wordpresses end to try and get it working again but I’m honestly not sure what to do. I’ve definitely typed in the right email address. And have also checked my spam/junk folder.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Sorry for the confusion. I forgot that you needed to get to the editing of your blog a different way. I took your advice and added the /wp-admin to my blog URL in which it then brought me to the log in page which is great, but I can’t seem to log in. And It’s not recognizing my user name or my email address which is really strange. I wasn’t sure if I got the password right so wanted to request a new one (It’s been a while since I’ve logged in, so not sure If I’ve remembered correctly) but I honestly don’t know what to do now since I can’t seem to log in.

Is it possible after not going in to my blog to edit it for so long that wordpress don’t have my details any more? So sorry if this sounds silly.

Thank you for your reply. I’m sorry, I’m really not clued up on this sort of thing I don’t mean to sound stupid, I do apologize if I do! Is there a way you could perhaps guide me step by step or simplify this for me at all? I think as I’m not that clued up on or familiar with all this then it seems a bit like double dutch if that makes sense? i’VE LOGGED ON briefly to internet at the library as my laptop is down so maybe it might make more sense if i spend more time reading the instructions next time?
