Well….
I have disabled every plugin except Metaslider and randomization still works only intermittently or not at all. A bit of a disappointment.
Is there anything else that can be tried?

Sorry – I am a little confused. If a cache system is disabled for admin users but active for non logged in users, that would mean it’s on the server side, yes?
I am not aware of any installed plug ins that have any effect on the cache but I’ll double check – is that what you mean?

A little more detail:

When I am in admin mode and check pages/slideshows, they randomize as they are supposed to. If I come to them from a different browser (ie not logged in as admin), they do not.

If I reload the page and slideshow, nothing changes. If I go into the slideshow 1st (I have navigation set up for arrow keys only) and THEN reload, the slideshow simply goes back to the first slide and the order of the slides remains the same.

I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to do this.

Also, this is the current version of MetaSlider (3.94) and ‘no conflict’ mode is ON.
