Thanks for your email, yes I saw that announcement.

My client advised me yesterday that he found a broken YT link, but he was quick to remove it manually as he was promoting the Post where he found it.

Are you able to replicate the issue?

If not, I can ask my client to advise me next time he finds a broken YT embed and I can forward you the link?

Sorry, can I ask one more question?

This might have nothing to do with the purge plugin but I thought I’d quickly ask all the same.

Whilst I now understand that I’ll shortly be able to mark the 410’s detailed in my crawl errors report in Search Console as fixed (once I’ve removed the purge plugin), I’m a little confused as to why I have some other crawl errors, which are images, that have the status code 404 rather than 410.

Do you have any idea why that might be?

Now this image was used on a Post which I have since converted to a Draft, which I 301 redirected.

But it does appear in the attchment part of the sitemap https://www.digitaldavidson.co.uk/attachment-sitemap.xml
