In reply to: Analogue of Craft CMS matrix fieldOn a side note, if you’d like to have the power of Twig, the amazing template engine Craft uses, consider checking out Timber.
Note the AFC Cookbook.
I’d like to avoid core hacks if at all possible myself. Having to remember to set the hacks again after upgrade surely would suck. Plus some of the incompatibilities if any.
I don’t have any ideas off the top of my head to address “something else” so, for now, 500 error gets my vote.
With that said, I will wait for case number 1 ??
Thanks again!
@bit51 I tried using slugs without any reference to login, admin or register. No luck with (MT), same issue.
This is happening on mediatemple (gs)
Bit51 are all 50~ sites using the same hosting company?
Maybe the hide backend could be host related?
It’s not working on one of my sites even though, the .htaccess is getting written to. I’m going to email you the .htaccess file.
Following this post as I’m having issues with Hide Backend as well and things not redirecting properly ie. “No input file specified.”

In reply to: [Plugin: Search Everything] Permalinks and 404Okay, although there has been no comment made in regards to this post I think Search Everything v. 5 has resolved the above issue. At least it seems that way from my initial tests.
***Update***
Well I take it back, v. 5 did nothing for this issue as I have tested further and reinstate my first post, sorry to have jumped the gun.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: 404 and PermalinksI ran into a problem similar although my custom permalink structure was this:
/%category%/%postname%/
Everything worked fine except when you went into the article itself it would give a 404.
Solution I found:
Deactivated all plugins and then one by one reactivated and tested to weed a possible cause.
“Search Everything” version 4.7.8 was the cause in my case.
