In reply to: [Age Gate] Stopped working on LocalhostDebug mode was already set to true:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);
There are no errors. It just reloads the page as if nothing happened.

In reply to: [Age Gate] Stopped working on LocalhostIn an attempt to maybe fix the problem with my local version of the site, I just upgraded to WordPress 8 from version 7.5 but it has not fixed anything.
The live version still works and is still running WP 7.5
Both local and live sites are running Version 1.3.5 of the Age Gate plugin.

In reply to: [Age Gate] Stopped working on LocalhostNothing of the kind. I never use those on local sites. I rarely use them on live sites, actually.

In reply to: [jQuery Masonry Image Gallery] Displays 3 columns instead of 4How did you resolve it? I’m specifying 3 columns and it’s not paying any attention at all to the number of columnns for me. It just fills the entire width. On a 27-inch monitor, I’m getting 9 columns.

In reply to: twentysixteen full width template/no sidebarThanks! The way I had done it previously was not as good as this. I will redo now as you suggest. Very much appreciated! ??

In reply to: twentysixteen full width template/no sidebarThank you… sadly it looks like you answered me instantly while I was off figuring that out on my own. I almost never use posts so I had completely forgotten they’re different. I am actually doing a blog for once instead of a 10-page website like usual.

In reply to: twentysixteen full width template/no sidebarOkay… I did as explained above… where is the option to select this template? I don’t see it anywhere in the dashboard when editing the post. I see no difference so I assume I have to select the template somehow.

In reply to: [AW Simple Sorter] This is awesomeLOL, I just went to the FAQ to see if there was anything about any mobile considerations and I read what is there. I guess my title for this review was perfect: “This is awesome”
I’m developing locally so I can’t access this on my cell phone. This is mobile-ready, right? I see it’s responsive, so I assumed there are no issues with clicking / touching, etc.

In reply to: [AW Simple Sorter] Can I rate my own plugin?Cool, thanks! I tried it out and it’s working great. It looks like you basically took the approach Jetpack did with their Custom Post Type Portfolios but added filtering ability… is that right? If not, then it is uncanny how much like the Jetpack CPT Portfolio setup this is, but yours is even simpler and I don’t think theirs has the filtering option, either.

In reply to: [AW Simple Sorter] Can I rate my own plugin?bummer that there are so few reviews and active installs after 7 months! I am testing this out right now and I will spread the word far and wide if it works for me because there are not nearly enough good sort plugins for WP, especially for free.
Did you use isotope, mixitup, quicksand, shuffle or create your own sorting script? I am just wondering about licensing fees. Some other free WP plugins use isotope and don’t bother to mention it so the user doesn’t know if he has to pay for a commercial license.
I have same problem, btw. PHP 5.5.10

In reply to: [Make] Buddypress integration?I guess I’ll mark it as resolved
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Make] Buddypress integration? Thanks, Melissa. I was confused because Buddypress textareas are missing any kind of outline (they’re overridden by Make which declares “no borders” across the board) so it would be like going to Facebook to update your status and not being able to find the box because it just blends in completely with the white background.

In reply to: [Make] Buddypress integration?thanks… so I assume you just mean I install the Buddypress plugin and I’m off to the races.
It really is a question specific to your theme I’m having, Buddypress support can’t really help me…
So:
1. the tutorial says that a certain directory from teh Buddypress download has to be copied over into the theme to make it Buddypress-ready. And this directory is not seen in your Make theme.
2. BUT, maybe your Make theme creators have integrated the necessary Buddypress stuff differently, like by including it directly in the CSS and js files of the Make theme, not just dropping an entire Buddypress directory into Make’s theme folder. Do you know?
