Was about to install this – I’m glad I checked the negative reviews as @fabiomb (thanks @fabiomb !) is right – the fact there’s no reference to this on the details of the plugin is shameful.

Let’s get people locked into using it before they realise they have to pay!

Not perfect but change:

if ( IS_MU_RS && scoper_get_option( 'mu_sitewide_groups' ) ) {
    global $wpdb, $blog_id;

to

global $wpdb, $blog_id;
if ( IS_MU_RS && scoper_get_option( 'mu_sitewide_groups' ) ) {

Same thing happened to me…
