Okay, but just to be clear though, the problem was that when I went into Editor to copy the style.css sheet, the line with the Template info was missing (pasted below). As you can see, there is no Template line. I put in various combinations of the name, but nothing worked. I like what I’ve seen of this theme so far and was considering going premium. Hope I don’t encounter more glitches in information.

Hello, I am having the same problem making a child theme with mh purity lite. I have made child themes for other themes before with no problem. This time, after numerous attempts, it keeps saying the style sheet is missing. Any way to help me?

Hi, John, the thing I posted recently is different than the problem I asked you about before and is no longer an issue, I don’t know why it came to you. I marked that resolved.

What am I doing wrong? Does this have to do with linking my layers to the wordpress site? If so, I don’t understand how to do that.

No, I thought I had. I did it, but in the css section I now only see the last line of the above:

@import url(“../twentyeleven/style.css”);

Maybe because those are all twenty eleven, and I haven’t activated that theme?

I’ve managed to get the parent matala back in the Themes, along with the matala-child, which is what I wanted to do originally. Do I still have to change the URLs?

Wait, there’s been a development. I went into Themes and matala-child is there, but the parent that was there before has disappeared. I didn’t do anything to cause this–what gives?

I’ll try. Where do I go in the site to re set the URL & site address?

Thanks, just for clarification is that where I go to find the directory name, or is it the directory name? I’m a complete newbie at this stuff, thanks for your patience.
