You can update this using custom CSS from your active theme.

Sorry, but this feature is not available in this plugin. You can customize the plugin as per your requirements.
Both fields are separate and they are not interlink, so on country change the phone number field cannot sync.
I am closing this ticket now.

The country code hide after form submit. Because contact form7 reset the fields.
I will look into this in the next update.
The countrySelect function not define, the issue generally related to script not loaded properly. other users shared this kind of issues. But when I review their website, there contact form 7 script and plugin script showing 409 error.
Failed to load resource: 409 (Conflict)

So, please check that as well.

For the phone number field placeholder. If you enable the country dial code prefix. Than placeholder will not visible. Because dial code added as the input value.
On disable the dial-code. You can fix the phone number field placeholder will be visible.
You can disable the dial code from plugin settings.
