In reply to: [Simple Page Access Restriction] Cannot view Restricted pages when logged in@mbajadek To summarize, you restrict page access to registered users. Then you visit as a guest (non-registered) user and you realize you are being redirected? Not sure what to make out of this but this is how the plugin is supposed to work.
Dear @timstrifler,
First of all, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback regarding our UpsellMaster Plugin. We are sorry to hear that it didn’t meet your expectations.
We understand that the title can be misunderstood from your perspective since your definition of 1-Click Upsells refers to 1-Click Offers after their initial Purchase. Kindly note that we are referring to another meaning of 1-Click Upsells, as we offer a solution to quickly add Upsells to the Cart in 1-Click. Furthermore, Upsells are individually selected as per the chosen algorithm which can calculate the optimal Upsells for each product individually via 1 Click If you check on the WordPress Directory, you will note that also other plugins use a different definition of 1 Click than yours. We also describe the functionality of UpsellMaster on the plugin page and we don’t think we are misleading our users here.
Please note that UpsellMaster goes way beyond building sales funnels. The idea is to offer tailored Upsells, which are selected for each product individually depending on the Upsell selection algorithm you choose to apply. Therefore, we apply Upsells throughout the website and are not limited to One-Click Offers post-purchase.
We acknowledge that the Upsell strategy you are referring to – offering Upsells immediately after Checkout, followed by a single click-to-purchase option – might be very effective in increasing website conversion and would be a great feature to add to our plugin. We have just considered adding that feature to UpsellMaster. Therefore, thank you for this suggestion! It could make the UpsellMaster Plugin even better.
We kindly ask for your patience until we have time to check how best to implement your suggestion of 1-Click Upsells after the Initial Purchase.
We welcome user feedback and are committed to making UpsellMaster a great plugin.
Best regards

In reply to: [Simple Page Access Restriction] Support 404 and REST APIHi @globalware
The empty item issue should be fixed on the latest version by now.
Please let us know if it is working now after updating it.
Regarding the 404, you mean returning 404 instead of a 403 response for a restricted page?
Thank you.

In reply to: [Simple Page Access Restriction] Using with an MFA pluginHi @kiremonger,
We noticed that the mentioned plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest three major releases of WordPress at the time of this writing.
We suggest reaching out to the plugin developer to ask if they plan to update their plugin or if it’s an abandoned project.
If they don’t plan to update, we suggest switching to another plugin. Otherwise, once they have an updated version, we can check for possible conflicts to fix.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Widget for Zendesk Chat via API] Partially worksHi @retrodiscouk,
We tested now first on desktop (Chrome) and on mobile (Android and iPhone), all tests worked.
Please note that on mobile, Zendesk loads a small question mark (?) icon that opens the widget once the user clicks on it.
Also, please double-check the plugin settings to confirm the widget’s delay time.
It usually takes a few seconds for the widget to load. This is due to performance, to prevent slowing down the website.
Please let us know if that helps.

In reply to: [Simple Page Access Restriction] Restricting all but a few pagesHi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
We think you could try the following:
Apply the restriction for every single post (pages or any post type), except the lost password page.
It should work. Also, you could install the plugin first on a stage server and try it out.
Please let us know if that helps.

In reply to: [Simple Page Access Restriction] Using with an MFA pluginHi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
We have forwarded this to the development team.
We are not sure how the mentioned plugin works, but you could try checking if that plugin has redirection rules and try to deactivate them.
It could be that there are conflicting redirections.
Please let us know if you found a solution in the meantime, thank you.

In reply to: [Simple Page Access Restriction] Redirect to Original Page after Logging inHi @shakisparki
Please check the new setting “Redirect Parameter” (Settings page).
If you set the Login Redirect (Page or URL) as a login page, and the Redirect Parameter is set, the user should be redirected to the original page they tried to access before logging in.
Let us know please if this helps. Thank you.

In reply to: [Simple Page Access Restriction] Checkbox default?Hi @sparkgold
Have you already tried the “New Posts/Pages” setting?
If you check this setting, it should flag new posts as “For Logged-In Users Only“, so we think it would work in your scenario (check this setting before importing posts).
Let us know please if this helps. Thank you.

In reply to: [Simple Page Access Restriction] Redirect to Original Page after Logging inHi @shakisparki
Could you please give us some more details about this use case?
Is the “Login Redirect Page” you are selecting on the WP-Admin Settings page a custom front-end login page/URL?
Thank you.
