In reply to: Admin not recognizing 3.8 updateOK – I went in and deactivated 2 plugins and activated 2013 theme. Followed the update manually instructions including updating manually both plugins. Reactivated the plugins. No change on any browser or computer. Still getting the old admin saying I need to update and the live site saying I have updated.

In reply to: Admin not recognizing 3.8 updateI’m running a 2012 child theme. I did deactivate my plugins during the update.
Do I need to switch to the 2013 theme, deactivate and upload 3.8 again?

In reply to: Admin not recognizing 3.8 updateI have cleared the cache and history but no change. Just to be sure – I checked on several computers that I never use for websites and the problem existed there as well.
I believe I followed the directions for the manual update correctly, I went through them step by step. But perhaps not?
Thanks

In reply to: Clicking 'Edit Page' bounces to Login PageI am using the Ambassador Theme from Hermes themes.
That is strange – I’m still seeing 3. I’ll reboot and hope for the best! Thanks for your help.

Is the custom CSS plugin area – the ngg_syles/nggallery.css? If not – where do I find this, please?

That worked – thanks – I would like 4 columns but maybe my thumbnail size is to large for the space?
Thanks
I am using NextGen with Theme David/Paige by WordPress for Artists and the plugins, Jetpack, WordPress SEO and Portfolio Slide Show. Version 2.0.0 did not read css for the lightbox and lost the thumbnail layout. I did not look at the admin area. I have successfully rolled back to 1.9.13
