In reply to: [OceanWP] Works wellI found the padding controls (under Customizing > Header > General)
The font size, height but not color controls are under Customizing > Typography > Logo
Background did not go to white as selected under Customizing > Header > General > Background Color because of Customizing > Header> Header Media > Overlay Color

In reply to: [OceanWP] Works wellI tried to access support from scratch, but couldn’t get there. Lame me.
I’ve setup a new site at ilr.nangeroni.net and need to make the Site Name more visible, and perhaps relocate it. I can manipulate page titles etc without a problem, but the Site Title remains more elusive. I need to change size, padding, alignment and color. Please advise how I can do this. If I have to use CSS, please be specific about how to reach the window for editing the CSS (I’m reasonably conversant in CSS, but not WP/OceanWP site navigation).
Thank you!

In reply to: [OceanWP] Works wellThanks, Marko. I’ve actually installed OceanWP on several low traffic sites, and look forward to getting more familiar with it as I use it more.

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Crashes my siteNick, thank you for responding.
Sorry, no log. The page with the shortcode displays properly except for maybe a couple of blank lines where the calendar ought to have been. When I included a list shortcode a rectangular area maybe 400px high showed in a different color.
I’ve moved on to embedding the calendars using Google’s iframe code which seems to work fine under WordPress, so this plug-in has now become superfluous for me.
Thanks anyway!

In reply to: [Widget Entries] Clashes with "AddThis"Alas, no such option is provided. That option DOES appear on Page and Post edit screens, however the screen options provided in the Widget entry editor are only “Show on screen” (‘Slug’ is the only option) and “Screen Layout” (allowing 1 or 2 columns). ‘
Thanks anyway! ??

In reply to: [Widget Entries] Clashes with "AddThis"Thanks, ZZS, for that tip. In my view, having to hand-code CSS for each widget to make the plug-in work is a non-starter, but perhaps that might work for others.
Thanks again for taking the time to comment.
Awesome, thanks!
Create new form, select “left aligned”, click “Save Form”. After screen refresh, label alignment shows “top aligned”.
Yeah, the problem isn’t selecting the option, it’s that the option reverts on it’s own. So I select “left aligned” and save the form, and it looks great. Then, I tweak something else on the page, not touching the alignment, and save the form, and now it’s back to “top aligned”.
Thanks for taking a look at this. It’s not a show stopper, but I worry that if someone else touches a form, it will kill the formatting and they won’t have a clue.

In reply to: Annoying Auto Script in EditorI’m also having this problem, but disabling “replace linebreaks” didn’t help. I’m seeing the same problem in both WordPress and Drupal installations, and it appears to be editor independent, I’ve tried installing a different editor (in Drupal) and that didn’t help.
Note that this insertion only happens at the end of a post, not at every line break.
Thanks for reading this far. I’ve got further info:
When I hack visual-form-builder.php, comment out as below (line 1869+):
<div style="display:none;"> <!-- <li> <label for="vfb-spam">' . __( 'This box is for spam protection' , 'visual-form-builder') . ' - <strong>' . __( 'please leave it blank' , 'visual-form-builder') . '</strong>:</label> <div> <input name="vfb-spam" id="vfb-spam" size="20" /> </div> </li> --> </div>
…the submit button returns to it’s proper position, though of course the superfluous input textbox no longer displays in IE8. I’m hacking my plugin for now, but would of course much prefer a real fix. I don’t see how my css could be causing this problem.
I like non-standard verification, but maybe it needs another look?
