I actually was able to figure out how to achieve the above functionality/conditional logic without relying on row_id metadata values.

I added a [hidden] column to my table that serves as an index to each row. I am now able to uniquely determine which row each Value cell is on, determine the corresponding value in the Y/N column, and then set the numeric value in my Value column appropriately. The resulting nested-IF formula for this logic is very ugly, but it works!

Thank you for all of your assistance! I greatly appreciate it!

    Hi @annuman

Thank you for your assistance – I now have the formula working at the column level. Hooray! One small hurdle overcome.

However, things are a bit more complicated. Each of the rows in our table assigns a different numeric value based on the respective Y/N response for that row. For example:

    • Row 1: Y = 20; N = 0
    • Row 2: Y = 15; N = 0
    • Row 3: Y = 5; N = -5

Is there a way to use row_id metadata in a formula to determine which row a cell is on so that the appropriate row-specific value is then placed into the cell?

Apologies in advance for the complicated scenario/application of formulae.

No worries at all – and it explains why I couldn’t find how to do so in the docs! LOL!

    Thanks for the prompt response.

After poking around other threads with the same complaint, I stumbled across this suggestion (also authored by @bcrodua) so I am a bit surprised it wasn’t offered as a solution here.

Could you try to reduce the backup archive split size. This will split the backup into smaller, more manageable files. To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 25Mb, save your settings and run a new process.

I configured my file size to be 200MB (half of the default value) and tried to do a backup. It completed successfully.

Hope this helps you out, @emilijak

I have been experiencing the same difficulties in backing up my website as well. The difficulties began two updates ago.

Prior to this, I had been routinely backing up my site approximately every week for well over two years – and always prior to installing any other WP/Plugin/Theme updates, regardless of when I had performed my most recent backup.

I had hoped that installing Version 1.16.63 (the most recent update pushed out a few days ago) would resolve this issue, but it has not.

Per your request above, here is the link to the logfile for my most recent attempt to backup my site.

Please advise as I have several Plugin/Theme updates pending, but will not install them until this issue is resolved. I have been very happy with UpdraftPlus up until now.

@jaimemarchwinski @aguseo [I am including these folks since they responded in this alternate thread about this same bug: ]

I, too, just noticed that my events detail has gone missing when viewing an event, although for some of the older events it is still there. I have read through both this thread and the above mentioned alternate thread. I tried switching to the Default Event Template – no change.

Another thing mentioned in the alternate thread is editing the post.php file (details are provided in the thread) – I REALLY do not want to have to dive into editing the post.php file to get this to work.

I am running WP 5.5.1 with TEC version 5.1.6 with TEC Pro version 5.1.4.

I suspect that while this bug may have been fixed as @jaimemarchwinski indicated almost 4 months ago, it has once again been broken.

My events are all online streaming events – most of them are recurring and I need my visitors to have access to the URL so they can watch. I also don’t want to have to recreate each of my events.

    Please advise ASAP.

    Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for the help – I will have a look!

    Nancy

I, too, have encountered this error.

    Windows 7 Professional (SP1)
    Chrome (58.0.3029.110 (64-bit))

    WP 4.8
Event Calendar 4.5.5 (just installed today)

I created a custom link for my menu, so all is good. But still good to know it isn’t just me… ??

    Nancy

Same request here. Would really appreciate being able to provide custom titles for each instance of this widget in my sidebars…

    Thanks!!!!!

Have you had a chance to take a look at why the counter is displaying vertically rather than horizontally to determine if it is due to my theme or WP 3.1-RC2?

I want to incorporate this on my page, but don’t want to do so right now with the “vertical” display.
