Hey James! Haven’t heard from you! What’s up?

Something occurred to me last evening. I have another website with the 2016 theme that doesn’t have this issue. Heymeta is nowhere in the source code. So, doesn’t that leave out the theme as the issue?

I contacted web hosting and they tell me that according to the source code, the tags are being generated through the Google Site-kit plugin. It doesn’t make sense to me since I deactivated all plugins and heymeta was still in the code. Can you verify what they are saying?

By the way, I bought this issue up to my hosting plan originally but they suggested that I contact WordPress. I’m going to ask them specifically if they are connected to heymeta.com in anyway.

I hate to tell you this, but after refreshing it’s still there! I deactivated the plugins, and refreshed. I even closed the browser, reopened it, and requested a fresh source code. What Gives? I guess I should reactivate the plugins.

I do not have this app. I’m wondering, what avenue allows this entry into my source code?

I bought up a new source code and Meta Tags Generated via https://heymeta.com is still there!

Okay, I uninstalled and reinstalled the theme and the home page looks good! Is there a way to test if the duplicates are gone?

Okay, this is out of my realm. I have the backup plug in, UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore. Does that achieve the backing up that you are referring to?

Okay, using Chrome, I entered &It;!–Meta Tags Generated via https://heymeta.com–> into the search box but there was no result.

I’ve check them all. Nothing about heymeta in the descriptions and nothing with the name Meta in the name.

Does this mean AIO is the culprit?

Thanks so much for responding. However, I don’t have a plug in by heymeta unless they use another name also.
