That may be the real problem then. When I click the first column (either up or down)in the ‘edit’ page it never returns an alphabetical list like the production page does. It consistently returns a list beginning with ‘lithest.com’ or ‘dryrub.com’ but never with ‘actionthemes.com’ like the production page properly does when the column is clicked.

That’s perfect. I just changed the target in your example to the column that I needed to hide, and now the search works exactly the way I need it to.
