These demo content created by WordPress Importer (Tools) from my another website. the_excerpt() of this demo content posts are not displaying in other themes also, it means some problem in demo content.
What can be the problem?

Yes, I am using latest version 2.1.1

Same problem is coming in 2.1.1 version.
I am using localhost (Apache).
