In reply to: Predicting the post breadcrumbs for posts with multiple parents using yoastHi All,
I’m still baffled by how to get Yoast breadcrumbs to behave as i want it to when it displays a post with multiple parents. I assumed the path would follow the parents with the lowest id, but it doesnt.
Any ideas, anyone? Surely I cant be the only one with this problem?

In reply to: Dashboard categories search does not workHi,
There are three of us who are all using the same install of WordPress to manage our blog. We’ve created categories with appropriate parents and we know they are there but when you run a keyword search they dont appear in the admin category search results.
Its really frustrating as we cant then see which categories have been built and those that havent.
A solution was to use Dagons Site Map plugin, and check the hierarchy on a page, but it doesnt work in WP 2.7.0 ??

In reply to: Creating Categories from ExcelHi Michael,
Thank you for this. As I am very new to WP and SQL etc, I hope I understand what you are saying.
Basically SQL Statements can be used either in phpMYAdmin to create the category structure exactly as it is in Excel and then go to wp-admin/includes/upgrade.php lines 96-99 (version 2.7.1) to change the category ids?
I am using 2.7.0 as there are some plugins which dont work in 2.7.1 – will I be looking at the wrong line in this case?
Thanks once again ??

In reply to: Dashboard categories search does not workHi,
I have exactly the same problem, and cant understand why other people havent posted this as a known issue.
I run a search and it doesnt produce any category results.

In reply to: Your opinion: Do you use breadcrumbs?Hi Joost,
Thanks for the great breadcrumbs plugin. We are new to WP and realised quite late on that the default URL for a post is dependant on the parent category id. So we have had to re-create almost 400+ categories in a pre-planned order.
Now we have discovered that default breadcrumb displayed for a particular post with multiple parents isnt as expected – please could you tell me what the rules are? i.e. for a particular post with multiple parents, hows does the plugin decide which path to display
Thanks
