In reply to: [Rotating Tweets (Twitter widget and shortcode)] RT and ‘Search’ + ‘Offset’A little more on this, but I’m struggling to spot a predictable pattern. For example, for the current BBCNews feed, the offset isn’t being applied when using;
[rotatingtweets search="from:bbcnews filter:media" tweet_count=1 offset=0 include_rts=0 exclude_replies=1 official_format=1 show_media=1 links_in_new_window=1 no_rotate=1 tweet_length=100]
.vs.
[rotatingtweets search="from:bbcnews filter:media" tweet_count=1 offset=1 include_rts=0 exclude_replies=1 official_format=1 show_media=1 links_in_new_window=1 no_rotate=1 tweet_length=100]
I seem to get a little more success when ‘include_rts=1’, but I’m really not sure what is happening here.
Appreciate any help/insight.

In reply to: [Rotating Tweets (Twitter widget and shortcode)] RT and ‘Search’ + ‘Offset’Hmm,… still trying, but I’m not seeing this work.
[rotatingtweets search="from:handle filter:media" tweet_count=1 offset=1 no_rotate=1]
And
[rotatingtweets search="from:handle filter:media" tweet_count=1 offset=0 no_rotate=1]

In reply to: [WP Cloudy] No data showing upYep, me too. With WP Cloudy 4.4.1 and WP 4.8.3, I’m seeing the same issues described in this and other support threads.
I’ve tried clearing the WP Cloudy cache, I’ve tried both with/without my API key, and generating a new key, and waiting / being patient after reading this article; [https://openweathermap.org/appid#work].
Something is not right here?
Hi Martin,
Many thanks for the prompt reply – within 8 minutes of my original query. Impressive.
I’d not appreciated that these were Twitter Cards being displayed. I can see the problem now.
Improving this would be a great enhancement to RT. I’d really like to use RT to display richer content on my site – including both media and twitter card content would deliver this.
Thanks also for sharing that retweets behave differently. I’ll look further at this. I was previously excluding retweets from display using RT altogether.
In displaying just ‘rich’ tweets/retweets using RT, and as a workaround, I was considering using a shortcode something like ‘[rotatingtweets search=”from:handle filter:media”]’. If I could combine this with retweeted content somehow, I’d be pretty happy.
Appreciate you taking the time to help. Many thanks.

Thanks. I learn something new every day.
Adding style=’inline’ to the MaxButtons shortcode seems to have resolved this.
Thanks massively for your help.

Thanks
I hadn’t appreciated that saving the button would clear the cache – makes sense.
Sounds like an issue unrelated to the button cache. You’ll find the button here on a development site; https://web01-dvl.mmuk.net/.
The ‘SUBSCRIBE’ button on the slider seems to display in a purple font and briefly italicises before finally being rendered correctly.

Hi,
I’d noticed some issues with a button rendering – it initially draws in the wrong colour before finally correcting itself. When the webpage containing the button loads more slowly the effect is noticeable. I was hoping that clearing the cache would resolve, but have been unable to try this due to the error described.
My subsequent test was going to be to create the button from new, which I still might try.
Urgency,… not massively so, but resolving my render issue would be great.
Thanks for your help
Ian…
