In the end it was a problem with the theme. It reduced the spacing of paragraphs to 0 in the customizer and inline CSS, while I adjusted the spacing in the theme CSS to 1.8 em.

The editor then takes the settings of the customizer and the frontend shows my settings in the Theme-CSS.

After some investigations, the real problem is, that the editor style for the paragraph is messed up from:

.editor-styles-wrapper p {
    font-size: inherit;
    line-height: inherit;
    margin-top: 28px;
    margin-bottom: 28px;
}

to

body .editor-styles-wrapper p {
    margin-top: 0px;
    margin-bottom: 0em;
}

The paragraphs are actually there but without spacing. But I can’t find the source of the problem. I deactivated the plugins but no change.

Got the same problem here https://nachbelichtet.com/feed but my feed seems to be valid.
Nevertheless, it no longer appears in the feed reader. It works with WP-Optimize disabled.

Hi,

I have the same problem on a freshly installed WordPress 5.4.1 without any installed plugins. After clicking on import on any “Starter Site” the page goes blank. For a blink of an eye you can see a status windows with an orange “installing Plugins” icon, followed by “Importing Content” etc.

I also tried to install it without the plugins option, which doesn’t work either.

Found it! It was a caching problem. It works again after emptying the browser cache (Chrome/Windows 10).

Version 1.4.7 worked well. V 1.4.8 stuck at “Searching relevant products from Amazon”. Maybe only a problem with the German (DE) Marketplace? Sorry, haven’t seen it – you’re also on the German Marketplace …

Auch bei meinem nachbelichtet.com war das der Fall. Bei Chrome-Usern wurde statt des Kommentars die Stra?e und Hausnummer eingetragen. Ich hatte hier etwa 10 solcher Vorf?lle und die Leser und ich wunderten sich …

Derzeit habe ich Antispam Bee deaktiviert und ein anderes Plugin im Einsatz.

I’ve tried Postman SMTP (the testmail is working) but it doesn’t work with WPdiscuz. I don’t want to use the internal mail function of WordPress, because it’s to limited and I’m already using the Amazon SES Mail Services for my newsletters (MailPoet).

I’ve tried Postmatic as well, but the the optin system is a little strange, because you have to reply with “agree” to the optin notification instead of clicking on a simple confirmation link.

MailPoet suggested to switch to the beta version which seems to work fine.
