What I absolutely don’t understand, is why it’s letting others send docx files, and not me. Odd. So that leads me to conclude that there is some issue with my phone, or browser. Because if it was a WP issue, you guys wouldn’t be able to send docx either, but you don’t seem to have a problem. I received all the test text ” docx” files you sent. So it can’t be plugins or anything. Unless you’re sending the test files from a PC.

Thanks. I’ll try but I’m kinda on the verge of giving up. If you guys can access it OK, and send files OK, it must be a server or some other issue. But I don’t need to access that part of the site for myself, it is s only for others and they don’t seem to have problem accessing it from their end. I’ll try a few more things but after that it’s probs too much effort. Thanks for all your help anyway.

So that allowed file types doesn’t appear to have any effect.

I can even add mp4 files and mp4 is not even listed on the tag allowed file types

Something to bear in mind. When I uploaded png it let me send it even though I hadn’t added png to list of allowed file types. So, I don’t know much about html, but is it a possibility that something in CF7 html won’t allow docx files?

Unless Microsoft have other file extensions which I don’t know about. But it says.docx after the files in Word.

Definitely docx files but I added doc and still didn’t work

and the issue with it not displaying the “select file” icon properly in Firefox.

Sending jpeg also not a problem. Seems just docx

But if I’m able to send png and not docx, does that make it any clearer?

OK so I’ve managed to send a png file through chrome just now. I added “png” to the file types. I still can’t send docx though. Not sure why?
