Here’s what I did last night:

* I created a brand new WordPress install on a staging site.
* Installed the X Pro theme as before. Added a few media uploads.
* Installed the latest version of BackWPup available.
* Did a backup to Dropbox.

Fully extracted the backup with 7zip (viewing alone doesn’t show all the files in the top folder).

_.php file was missing (and who knows what else for that matter!).

I have to rebuild the new site I was working on from scratch. ??

Apparently BackWPup isn’t excluding these files. I placed some in another site and they were backup up without a problem.

I’m wondering if the theme itself is preventing certain files from being backed up.

WP 3.6 was working fine. However I got a notice that v3.06 of the the Customizr theme was available. As soon as I did the upgrade completed my right toolbar disappeared. Settings did not change. Now I cannot get any toolbars to appear no matter what settings are used.

When I downgrade the theme back to 3.05, the toolbars work again.
