Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Add Link to Facebook] Do I really need the APP permissions? FB rejected themI’m really confused… this plugin worked beautifully a year ago. Now my website is no longer connected to Facebook. Trying to re-add it following the setup information dives so deep… Facebook thinks I’m trying to create my own app. That’s not the case, I just want to use this plugin. I’m terribly confused at the complication behind this simple need to link Facebook to my website.
Request the following permissions and supply any other information Facebook requests:
publish_actions (required to add links)
user_groups (required to add links to groups)
manage_pages (required to add links to pages)
read_stream (required to show a Facebook activity feed in a widget)Trying to add the above items to Authorize the plugin opens Pandora’s Box into making an official request to Facebook to explain this plugin like I’m its creator.
Has anyone else encountered this rabbit hole?

In reply to: Pick-a-Path Adventure?Mild update for anyone who stumbles onto this thread…
“Choose-your-own-adventure” is a better keyword search.
This revealed two threads:

The best response suggests using a survey or questionnaire plugin with branching capability.
Separate from that, there’s a profession plugin called Sensei which lets you set up lessons for students in WordPress. The students can be graded multiple ways — among those are multiple choice questions (or in other words “Choose-your-own-Answer”).

It doesn’t automatically “grade” fill-in-the-blank questions, however. It also doesn’t look like it can recall previous answers.
I’m hitting this same problem. If there’s no frontside way to fix this, what’s the best way to dig into the backside to fix it?
