Disabled Each Plug in and saved permalink not loading. Site is down not reinstalling

Before doing it I will disable each plugin before to see if one of them is blocking
i was playing and when I change permalinks all do not work except default permalink not sure if that means anything?

if I do any other permalink all get a 404 error
be back I will try each plug in might take a while.

B3 Not working for me.
I think I’m going to Wipe out my site and Start from fresh in the past I had a problem with one or two plug ins and did not stick around this long as I was here to figure it out. Seems I’m the only one having this problem.
At any rate after close to 200 sign ups they were all Spammers (Sploggers)
So I’m going to Re do my site. or I might even not do it and dump it. I have a Decision to make I can’t be leave that with all I’m offering no one wants a free Blog except spammers. O-Well.

Mod Rewrite rules updated!
then went to tester & Contents
The timestamps on both pages match!

I tried debug and its not debugging. (not producing a debug file in cache directory)
I also found that my .htaccess file is not writable and I don’t know why
The server is mine and I have no problem with any other account on the server.
I tried to rewrite the permalink and it said htaccess is not writeable so, I guess I have to find out why its not rewritable first.

Do you have a membership type plug-in installed that limits access.
I do and noticed this myself.

Tried new version b1 and same thing will not show the sitemap.xml
Any recommendations?

tried Getting the new one(beta) and seems wordpress’s plugin download section took a dump.

I clicked the link https://bloginsphere.com/index.php?xml_sitemap=params= and yes I saw the sitemap for https://bloginsphere.com/sitemap-misc.xml and others bu8t not sitemap.xml
what could be causing this?
I will keep trying the download of the new one. You have the best sitemap creation program around and it does work on my other sites great.

Ok I need to move on with support on this, I really need a site map online. I will wait for a reply then tonight I will move on.

the generation of a sitemap did not work it when to a you page could not be found page.
I’m going to try again now as I write this.
deleted simple sitemap plug-in and install yours alpha5 and activated still had my settings in the database. went over them and Hit the link to the sitemap on the settings page and got this

I have downloaded the latest 4.0a5 and could not get it to generate a Site map. I edited two posts and updated no sitemap.

after plugin was activated i realized I tried the 4.01a version a while ago and that did not work either then I switched to simple sitemap and that worked but I rather use yours.

and Boy does it work great I had bots like crazy now they are not getting in all because of the renaming of wp-signup.php Yahooo
I can’t wait to afford to rejoin WPMUDEV and use the API for it. Man that will also help.

Update
I have installed the moderate new blogs plug-in.
and so far I’m not sure it doing anything but making me look at a blog that not created yet or worked on yet until I activate it. It is preventing the splogger from changing the theme with no content in the blog and waiting for someone or a script to comeback and fill in the post about electronics with links to a something different or a blog roll a mile long.

You would not know if its a splogger until that either don’t work on it or change the theme and don’t come back for a while (splog in waiting).

I also put in spambot and entries in the htaccess file.
I’m down to 2 or 3 a day.
