In reply to: [Repost] Is there a way to remove the Ad on a "repost"?Email sent. Thanks.
Glad I read this thread first. Was planning on upgrading to the Pro Version for another clients Multisite WP.
Just tested on Multisite and same issue. When trying to upload images get “You browser doesn’t have Flash, Silverlight, HTML5, or HTML4 support.”
Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

In reply to: [Repost] Is there a way to remove the Ad on a "repost"?For starters, having the Repost house ad’s automatically inserted is a sure way to kill this great plug-in. Most WP developers and site admins will simply not use this plug-in because of the Ad’s. Although I love the simplicity and functionality, I’ve already removed it due to the “house” ads that are auto-inserted.
Since this plugin does not have mass traction yet, (only 16k downloaded), I would recommend the following:
1. Go House Ad Banner free for upto 4 or 5 syndicated posts and leave the plugin Free. Why? To get better WP user penetration and give everyone a “taste”. Once folks get hooked onto the plugin, they’ll upgrade to a “Pro” version. I would focus on overall WP penetration of the plug-in VS trying to turn a quick ROI.
2. Anything above 4-5 syndicated posts, release a pro version and charge a flat fee. Anywhere between $9.95 – $29.95. I would NOT go annual subscription. Everyone HATES that with WP plug-ins. Price too high, and you’ll alienate users.
Better to sell to the masses and have 20,000 paid users vs pricing too high and only having 500 paid users.
Different Plans:
1. Free – Upto 4 or5 syndicated posts without Ad Banners. Objective: to get the plug-in “out there” and to establish user base/penetration with WP. It’s one thing if someone downloads the plugin, but are they using it? After seeing the AD’s, many will uninstall it.
2. Pro Light – $9.95 … 500 syndication posts without Banner Ad’s.
3. Pro Extreme – $19.95 … 1000 syndication without Banner Ad’s, but white label branding of the embed code and loading box. Mabye another $10 for white label branding bringing this to $29.95
4. Enterprise Version – Unlimited syndication. For major highly trafficked sites/blogs. Maybe $99.00 … not sure.
Charge for Major upgrades that introduce NEW functionality and Features, but NOT bug fixes or minor releases. Maybe every 5-7 QTRs.
Features that I would like to see:
1. Ability to remove House Ad’s – most important!
2. White label branding of the loader and Embed Button
3. Templates or themes to style and brand the syndication. This plug-in is quite a gem and I can honestly see it being as ubiquitous as Add This or WP Total Cache, but the Ad’s are a sure way to kill it before it even has a chance to get going.
Just my thoughts.
Scratch my latest post. I typed in more words and the “streaking” seems to have disappeared.
Seem’s to work fine on Safari Mac as long as you type in more than a few words. I.E – simply typing in “Test” shows the streak.
Great plugin by the way! Easy to use and simple and clean!!!
Having the same issue. A think blue streaking line similar to what was posted here: https://instago.co/textIssue.jpg
However, this is happening on Safari on Mac. Seems to be fine in Mac Chrome, and Firefox Chrome.
Any solutions?

In reply to: [List category posts] numberposts parameter has no effectSame problem here. Plugin shortcode for “numberposts=” does NOT work! Obviously, this is problematic for some and for others a non issue.
I resolved, by editing list_cat_posts.php.
On LIne 48, change the below
‘numberposts’ => ‘5’,To your value.
Shortcode parameter does not work at all.

In reply to: [World Flag] Post ProblemFix the issue on my end. Simply removed the .htaccess file that was in:
wp-contents/plugins/world-flag/assets/tinymce
Looks like the developer put an .htaccess file in the above directory. Deleting the .htacces file fixed the issue with the plugin burping up the php code.

In reply to: [World Flag] Post ProblemSame issue here. When I goto add a flag, I simply get the popup and it spits up the php and html code.
It’s not our server as we have root access and pretty much EVERY plugin we’ve installed on WP works fine.
