Thanks for the response!
I have already found a fix for my issue…
Apparently, when you create an event (while using Polylang and MEC) it’ll be created for both languages. To avoid the double entry you must also create a translation for said event.
In case you only want to show a particular event for the readers of one of the languages, you only have to create the event translation post. You can delete it right afterwards. There’s no need to write anything.
It’s not ideal but it works.
It took a few hours after I did the first suggested procedure and purged the cache, but it worked. Didn’t have to do the other procedure.
Got a 100 at PageSpeed Score now ??
Thanks a lot!
Hello and thanks for the swift reply!
I did that and it did improve a bit. The grade for the parameter in GTMatrix has gone up a bit, but I’m still receiving the warning for

Hello Mihaela and thank you for the fast reply.
After I rearrange the posts in the Posts panel, as soon as I refresh or reopen it, the posts are all mixed again. It does NOT mix the posts on the widget or the menu, though. It wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t have to add new posts to the Eventos category all the time. When I do add a post, I have to rearrange every single post in it again, because the posts order will be mixed up.
When I rearrange the posts order: https://imgur.com/nx8YZHV (alphabetically, chronologically OK — days come before months in Portuguese).
After I refresh or reopen the Posts panel: https://imgur.com/h46JE5y (the reordering is undone, so I have to do it all over again every time I add a new post).
Thanks!
