Does anyone have a fix to get ‘Save As’ working?

If there are results (i.e. if ‘Save Results’ is set for the quiz), the results page has an ‘Export CSV’ button.

This saves a csv to:
wp-content/plugins-wp-survey-and-quiz-tool/tmp/results-X.csv

where ‘X’ is the quiz ID.

It would be terrific if the ‘Save As’ option worked but it doesn’t.

This is a common problem. There is a fix by nexe in another thread.

That fixed the problem for me. I got it working by moving the image folder because I couldn’t figure out where to change the path.

Exactly what I am seeing, no matter what shortcode is used.

Big shame because it looks neat otherwise.

Whoops, wrong plug-in!

This is one I looked at before moving on.

I updated a few plug-ins including wp-survey-and-quiz-tool v2.10.2 with little thought.

I have been contacted already to inform me that ‘it has stopped marking properly’.

On investigation, it is the same suggested patch that has been repeatedly ignored for ages.

It has now moved down to line 349 but the same deficiency is still there.

Is there any chance that this can be included in the core? I haven’t checked yet whether the other suggest fixes have been applied.

Allowing errors did not produce anything different.

I am not saying that it can’t be a conflict but I could see the admin page, upgraded to v1.6 and the admin page was blank with no other plug-in changes.

I will revert if necessary.

The Admin menu simply produces a blank page.

It doesn’t cause a problem as such but the headmaster sets up things for specific roles (eg. teacher) and Event_contributer always appears in the list which causes confusion.

I don’t want to delete the plug-in, I want to delete the Event_Contributor role ??

I have created roles such as Headmaster, Teacher, Governor and it is causing a slight confusion.

I didn’t want to simply delete the role (which I didn’t create) in case I lost the capabilities.

I just did a phpinfo() on the host and I can confirm that PHP is v5.2.17

I am not sure if they will upgrade it if I ask, it is just a hosting package.

Okay, I deleted the wp_access_access_config record from wp_options so config press is empty and upgraded again and everything is good.

But there is a Config Press parsing error.

Seems okay so far. I will change it on the live site so should hear pretty soon if not.

At last I can leave 1.4 behind ??
