Thanks for the reply. I will have to find a fix for the theme then because I will use this custom made theme.

And I am talking about image in a grid column on homepage, in upcoming events section. the code is in paste bin.

Open your theme folder and look for single.php
clone it and rename it to single-event.php
then make changes in that file. Any single event will load this template

make sure not to delete header and footer. if you don’t want sidebar you can delete that too in single-event.php

I changed the theme after that because hueman theme was causing me troubles.
well thanks for your replies.

No other plugins were installed, fresh wordpress installation.

The main concern is it is taking all the space of content area even when theme is in full page layout and still coming in two columns.
