Hi Ewout, thanks for your quick reply (at this hour ?? ).
Don’t want to use the plugin; I try to avoid adding too much plugins.
Hence: child theme / php.

Actually: using only style.css worked fine… I put it in the folder woocommerce/pdf/[name template] of my child theme. Somehow it derives the other php.files from of the simple-folder elsewhere when a generate an invoice But I do get why it might not. Not sure how or when these php-files are kicking in.
The thing is: the invoice.php changed some time ago. Because I copied all the template files to my child theme, this php-file didn’t work anymore. So if I don’t have to copy them at all it would be better and safer with updates (or so I thought).

Yes, it sometimes ‘doesnt’ work’ because I can not select the template in the general settings. But this is with using ALL files in the template. Lately it works fine though, I was just wondering.

I thought the files would not be overwritten because they would be in their own folder [name template]. I guess when the folder structure changes as well, all is lost indeed. I stick with folder in child theme. ??

I see it’s not resolved yet in the thread you started at bbPress.org.
Just want to let you know I encountered the same problem. Indeed it doesn’t matter whether user has started a topic or not.

Hope you will update in this thread once a solution is made.

The word “oplossingsgericht” is one word. In stead, on the site, the last letter “t” is on the next line instead of after “oplossingsgerich”.

It’s on the bottom of your screenshot.

Of course… That was silly of me; it was hidden behind a password. ??

I tried something: I copied all the files from my back-up directory folder “public_html\wp-admin\css” to the site (through FTP). Then hit CTRL+F5 in the browser. That didn’t help yet…

I could try and reload the style sheet through FTP maybe?
Do you know in which folder it is situated and the exact name of the file?

So, I figured out what happened. Maybe it’s useful for others in the future.
– the themes translation was a handmade translation by myself (it’s going to be official, but still in processing)
– the theme got updated; in the update there’s a new string with ‘read more…’. I hadn’t noticed that because I was checking my previous translation file
– not only do you need to translate new strings (of course), in the PO-file you have to manually edit the themes version, otherwise the language file will not be read (at least that’s the case for this theme)

If I had known that the fact it was a handmade translation was at the core of my problem, I would have mentioned it beforehand. But I didn’t. ??

I did:

I checked the translation files of my theme and wordpress and the translation in there is still valid.

I opened them both in Poedit and used the search option to check them all…

That’s what I reckon; something got changed.
But I would like some help in how to fix it…

Thanks for that. No, I didn’t install a new plugin.
Actually I only have 6 plugins. I just deactivated the last 2 plugins I installed, but no difference.
The other plugins where in place for sure when everything was fine.
