In reply to: [ITRO Popup Plugin] Good plugin but…I have just come up against the same issue; I have used the plugin on a single client site before and really liked it, it’s a real shame that I can only use it on a single site within my multi-site install. I would love to use this plugin again across multiple sites in my multi-site install, I hope that the devs will be able to include multi-site support in futures versions.

In reply to: Random tags being inserted into loop content.Never mind; I used a conditional statement in the php template file to display the list pages function. But the issue isn’t resolved as the problem still exists within the loop; I have replaced all the WordPress files; and tested the same wp_list_pages function call in three different WordPress sites; all running v3.5.1, so I would suggest it’s a WP core issue, if anyone knows of a fix, please do post!

In reply to: WP 3.4.2 Unable to delete comments or empty trash.OK, an update; it seems to be part of a wider comments system problem; wp-comments-post.php also returns a blank page but does post the comment to the database.
// scratch that, just deactivated Jetpack (1.9.2) and suddenly it works fine, I didn’t disable it previously because I assumed it would have been well tested given that it’s a wordpress plugin, I guess not!
I really wanted to use this feature of Jetpack but if I can not style the H3 to match my site; I’m going to go back to my own comments.php until it becomes possible to style the form.

In reply to: [Reference 2 Wiki] [Plugin: Reference 2 Wiki] Parse error happenedI resolved the PARSE ERROR issue on my host (Bluehost), there’s an option in cPanel to change php version.
Log into cPanel from the BlueHost website, goto Software/Services -> PHP Config -> there you’ll have a choice of php 5.2, 5.3 or 5.4.
I suspect other hosts will have a similar system, log into your control panel and have a look around, or call/email your host.

In reply to: [Reference 2 Wiki] [Plugin: Reference 2 Wiki] Parse error happenedThat would explain a lot; my host is running php 5.2.17, I will ask if they can upgrade the php software, if they can’t I’ll just have to keep using the previous version of the plugin, it’s too much work to go back and strip out the code from all my previous posts.

In reply to: [Reference 2 Wiki] [Plugin: Reference 2 Wiki] Parse error happenedI also have the same issue; had to revert to a backup of my site as I use this plugin extensively, any chance of a fix of the latest version?
I have just updated to v2.0.9 and the Facebook Share button is working again for me, thanks to the author for fixing this issue and for the great plugin.
I have the same issue, but it has been intermittent over the last few months, which makes me think it’s a Facebook bug but it has not been working for the past three days now. Has Facebook changed the code needed for the share image/link, which needs to be implemented into the next plugin update? For now I am going to take Facebook Share out, I don’t like having broken images on my websites.

In reply to: get_avatar() function generating wrong email md5 hash.It must be a server issue as it did exactly the same on a brand new WordPress install I set up; kinda annoying but I’ll have to live with it, I’ll just use a generated image to make the comments look prettier!

In reply to: get_avatar() function generating wrong email md5 hash.OK, thanks for the responses; I’ll set up a new install on a subdomain and see if that fixes the problem, I can normally resolve most issues but this one has me baffled; time to do some diagnostics to resolve this issue, if it’s server based, there isn’t much I can do; I don’t think my host will be happy with me hacking their apache/php conf files.

In reply to: get_avatar() function generating wrong email md5 hash.I have tried the above, deactivated all plugin’s and there is still not gravatars; just the mystery man, same issue with incorrect md5 generation. I had previously switched to the default theme Twenty Eleven but tried again after resetting the plugin folder. So I guess there is some issue with the core install files.
I’m running PHP Version 5.2.17 if that’s relevant?

In reply to: get_avatar() function generating wrong email md5 hash.Anyone? This would be nice to be able to get this working, kinda pointless having avatars if everyone is a mystery man…
I’m guessing no-one has come across this before? which means it’s probably related to my install (fully patched upto 3.2.1) with the following plugins, version numbers in brackets:
Akismet (2.53)
Analytics WP (1.02)
Auto Keywords & Description Generator (1.3.2)
Configurable Tag Cloud (5.2)
Fancybox for WordPress (2.75)
FLV Embed (1.21)
Google XML Sitemaps (3.25)
Last Modified (1.1.1)
Share & Follow (1.54.1)
Strictly Auto Tags (2.5)
WP Twitter Sidebar (2.2)Forum: Fixing WordPress
