Yea, On one of my sites the problem is PHP 5.2.

Same here. The error message is:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/MYHOMEFOLDER/domains/MYSITE.COM/public_html/wp-content/plugins/eu-cookie-law/class-frontend.php on line 5

The law here demands explicit consent to load cookies. And I think the IP anonymisation wont be enough.
