Hello @pulak00,
Thank you for the quick reply.

Please advise,
UPDATE 2:
I’m sorry to mark this as resolved, and then re-open the topic.
When I moved the update from staging website to live, the display is once again showing 2 testimonials peer slide.
Please advise.

In reply to: [Botiga] Formatting broken after updateHi @maaprote,
Thank you once again for the quick reply, I truly appreciate it and hope that with backwards compatibility added to future releases that I can continue to use Botiga without further incident.
Final question – would you have any idea when the next release will arrive? Are these new releases announced via newsletter?

In reply to: [Botiga] Formatting broken after updateHi @maaprote, and thank you for the quick reply.
Understood that the change in question came about in version 1.1.8 and not 1.1.9
As mentioned in my initial post, I have several sites running Botiga. As you may imagine, it is a real headache having them all go sideways at once due to a theme update (twice this has happened now); and also frustrating not knowing which new update will break these sites again.
For me to go in and edit every page affected by these updates is also very counter-productive, as the text and background formatting have broken on several pages across multiple sites (and I haven’t touched on how this has effected the sites running a child theme).
For future Botiga updates, how can we preserve the layout and formatting of our existing sites while keeping the theme updated? Any insight here would be helpful; Auditing and manually fixing multiple sites with each update is not sustainable.
Hi, I had the same experiance as @wigglepit – it just started working after a brief period, I had already cleared cache, tried different browsers, etc.

In reply to: [WC Custom Add to Cart labels] Read More?I modified the plugin file – in my case the bug was with Bundled products, so I added the necessary code.
Basically copied one of the other product types and changed the variable to ‘bundle’.
It’s a pretty easy fix if you are comfortable with php coding at all… is this something you can manage?

In reply to: [WC Custom Add to Cart labels] Read More?I wound up modifying plugin myself. Marking this as resolved.
I did some digging through this WP database, and found part of the issue:
With version 3+, the developer changed a value for
post_type
fromtickets
toticket
(wp_posts
table).This also affects the column
guid
, where a typical post url would have been/?post_type=tickets&p=9
and is now/?post_type=ticket&p=9
.Doing a search / replace (from “tickets” to ticket“) for these 2 columns brought my tickets back on the front end, however all revisions are gone, and all tickets display as “open” (where many should be “closed” or “on hold”). Furthermore, none of our users (including admin) seem to have permission to update / edit tickets.

In reply to: [Waving Portfolio] Re-Ordering ImagesYes, you can re-order them by changing the Publish date. They will always display newest > oldest.

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] How to add a link to a page to the NG Widget?I would just add a plain text widget directly under the gallery widget.
You would put the link code into text widget:
Full Gallery >>Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Rollover text on NexGen Gallery Thumbnails?Thank you for the response, makes sense.
I will try it out…
