The theme I’m using is an edited version of the default theme, and I didn’t add any jQuery includes.
My site is not currently public, so I can’t provide a link, however my question was if this was normal/typical—i.e. on a typical install.
Oddly, the includes have disappeared since I last looked. I must have switched something without realizing it, so I’ll look into it. Sorry about the confusion. I’ll check back if the issue reappears.
