In reply to: [Performance Lab] Uploaded files do not convert to WebP@rjrjrjrj Thanks for sharing! Based on your settings, WebP is supported and should be working. Can you please try the following steps and let me know what happens?
- Make a new post.
- Add a new JPEG file to your media library.
- Insert the image into your post’s content.
- Make your post visible to the public.
- Go to the post URL and inspect to view the post markup and verify if a WebP file is being used for the image.
If you’re still not seeing a WebP image, it’s likely that there’s a conflict somewhere between the Performance Lab plugin and either your theme or another plugin. To test this, you can install the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to safely activate only Performance Lab and switch to a default theme. If WebP conversion works in Troubleshooting Mode, it’s likely that there is a conflict, and you can reactivate your plugins and theme one-by-one to try to identify what is conflicting. More details on how to use that plugin are available here.
@tapsuccess If you’d like to open a new support topic we’d be happy to assist with your case individually. Thank you!

In reply to: [Performance Lab] Uploaded files do not convert to WebP@rjrjrjrj Hi there, thanks for getting in touch!
Can you confirm that your server supports WebP? The best way to tell is by going to Tools > Site Health > Status. If you see a recommended improvement that says “Your site does not support WebP,” the WebP generation for new JPEG uploads will not work.
If you do not see that message or you see a message that says “Your site supports WebP” under Passed Tests, there may be something else going on. Can you please share your Site Health information here?

@ildomandatore Thanks for getting in touch. I see that you’ve asked some other questions about statistics in Site Kit Dashboard recently, so I wanted to hopefully provide some clarity here.
is it because the statistics update after a few hours and there is a reset of the numbers?
Dashboard data refreshes once per day. Exactly when it refreshes is dependent on your site’s defined timezone. This means that if you are looking for the most “up to the minute” data, you will want to go directly to the source – Analytics, Search Console, etc. – to view it there.
Your plugin scores me the Total Unique Visitors first with 171 visitors and then 0 after a few hours. It is not the first time that I have this anomaly in numbers.
The Site Kit Summary widget on the WordPress Dashboard (in your screenshot) displays several statistics from the Site Kit Dashboard and reflects the data from the last 28 days. Since this refreshes daily, the data will likely change over time.
Because all of the data that is displayed within Site Kit and its associated calculations and terminology are pulled in directly from these other Google services, questions or concerns about your site’s unique data aren’t something that we can troubleshoot and dig deeper into here on the Site Kit forum. We do not have access to your Google properties, and troubleshooting why a data point is different than you expected can be very difficult given the constant changes in traffic, rankings, and algorithms.
If you want some help with getting started, I do recommend asking your questions on the Search Console and Analytics Help Centers as my colleague James has previously pointed you to.
I hope this helps clarify the Site Kit stats a bit for you. If there’s anything else we can help with related to Site Kit, let me know!

In reply to: [Performance Lab] Lazy loading + Above The Fold@gyurmey Thanks for getting in touch! At the moment, the plugin does not do anything related to lazy loading, so this would be a new feature. If you wouldn’t mind creating a new feature request issue in our GitHub repo, we can review this and consider for a future release.
I’ll mark this topic as resolved, but if you have any other questions, just let us know!
@strarsis Apologies, just noticed that you were providing a solution, not asking a question. ?? Thank you for helping here!
