I did check “Resolved” at the end of my last post. it’s now classified as Resolved.

Wow, that worked. No wonder I couldn’t figure out how to change that text. It just wasn’t there to be changed. But now it looks like I (now) remember it. Thanks so much!

I see many widget names down the left side. But clicking on each one displays nothing (the home page stays displayed but nothing else).

Dashboard>Appearance>Widgets displays a blank white screen to the right.

A year ago. “Hard coded” where?

I’m looking at my WP dashboard and don’t seen anything like that.

As I said above, I do have a Home page but the editor for it shows no text. Or did you mean something else?

Thanks for that reference to WP Rollback. I installed it and rolled back the contact form to the prior version and now it works correctly!

Same problem here. How do I roll back the version?

Actually, the form seems to not work (the “spinning circle” remains forever) but the message is sent. But the sender doesn’t know that it was sent so it’s essentially the same problem.

Edited: I installed plugin WP Rollback, rolled back the contact form to the prior version and now it works correctly!

Thanks so much for that article! It’s just what I was looking for. I note that it’s now five years old. Are there any recent such articles?

I don’t know how I can make my question more clear. I just don’t understand what a “page builder” is. Do I need one to use Astra theme with WordPress? Of can I use Astra without a page builder?
