In reply to: [Rename wp-login.php] domain URL/wp-login.php still showsI think its OK, now.
The issue got resolved somehow when another security plugin rewrote my whole blog into a new install removing all blog entries (I do have backup).
I also think that other security plugin named: “Acunetix Secure WordPress”, may have caused the issue I first wrote about.
I tested it now, after rebuilding my site and works fine. Take a look at that other plugin, it is quite involved and can even rewrite ‘wp’ prefixes to WordPress files (which is what reinstalled my blog). I think its capabilities is what blocked your plugin.
Anywho, its all working now and I will just be more careful with that other plugin.
Thanks

In reply to: [WP Admin Block] Since installing the plug in I can't get into my site.I realize this reply is late, but I just installed this Wp-Admin-block plugin and now I will delete it completely.
It works well to redirect me to my home page for the blog, but there is NO place to enter the keyword and the plugin does NOT offer any login box or page to enter the friggin security key. It just keep redirecting.
The way to deactivate this useless plugin is to first open a new tab in your browser. Go to your website host, login and go to the C-Panel of your website host company.
Most of them offer access to your site file structure (folders and files). Once there for your blog, do the following:
> click folder “wp-content”
> click folder “plugins”
> rename folder “wp-admin-block” to anything, I renamed it to: “wp-admin-block-OFF”.Now it is deactivated, open the tab that has your blog, click the login link for your blog and login.
Once logged in, you have the WP dash board.
Go to your plugins inside yor WP Admin console and delete the friggin thing.
Do not return to your C-Panel to rename the wp-admin-block folder back to its original name, it will block your access to the plugins again. Just delete the plugin in WP admin plugins page and it will delete it from your WP files and folders.
I won’t bother hassling with defective plugins any more, I just delete them and find something that works.

In reply to: Sub-Entries to Parent Pages Fail to ShowOk, I managed to make a small change to the ‘style.css’ file regarding the sublists in side panel or column. Here is the CSS code
#sidebar ul li ul li ul{
background-image:none;
margin-bottom:0px;
margin-left: 14px;
padding-top:0px;
padding-bottom:0px;
border:none;
}I added a “margin-left” setting. That offset the sublist to the pages and gave a clear indication to what parent page it belonged to.
What is still needed is the change to a “php” file that allows the main page to pull in a list of its subpages. That I have not been able to do since I do not know ‘php’ code language yet.

In reply to: TimeZone – UTC – GMT Settings in WordPressThe problem, Moshu, is that there is no link to the posting rules. If there was a visible link, I would have used it and read them. The link must be readly visible on the menu, which it is not.
Please provide a link to these rules that apparently exist so I can read them.
My postings were to facilitate the dissemination of good information since several posts were made by others in various categories asking for the same info.
