In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Error Saving Changes: Oops! Something went wrong while savingHi, we made the tests to debug JS on the Chrome browser, and it’s working normally.
We check the link you sent us in your previous message, then it says to check the Chrome Console at https://developer.chrome.com/docs/devtools/javascript/
We followed the link and selected Debug JavaScript, and then there is this page here where you can make the test too.
https://googlechrome.github.io/devtools-samples/debug-js/get-startedWe could make the test but it’s a bit confusing. For this reason, we tested on different browsers, Safari and Firefox, on both of them the plugin Yoast SEO gives the same error message while saving changes: Oops! Something went wrong while saving.
About the Yoast Test Helper, the plugin is installed, when we click Reset Site Information, it gives another error message: Yoast SEO feature?Site information?could not be reset.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Error Saving Changes: Oops! Something went wrong while savingNOTE: The only thing we want to do is toggle the Yoast Sitemap off, as it was for 2 years… never had any problem. Please check the screenshot.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Error Saving Changes: Oops! Something went wrong while savingHi, when we go to WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site Representation, there is a company name there and a logo, but it was made by mistake.
I tried to make some change and save, but it is not saving, and give the same error message: Oops! Something went wrong while saving
I tried to delete the logo and save it, doesn’t work too. Changing to a personal blog doesn’t work too. Same error, it doesn’t save.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Error Saving Changes: Oops! Something went wrong while savingHi
The only solution we think it would work is uninstalling the plugin Yoast SEO, totally. But this is something we would not like to do.
At the moment the plugin is creating new sitemaps to out website and is crashing the Google crawling too.
Please help?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Error Saving Changes: Oops! Something went wrong while savingHi
We made all tests and deactivated all plugins. Even with only Yoast activated, we toggle any settings, and when saving it gives the message again: Oops! Something went wrong while saving
Do you have any suggestion?
Don’t worry, we give up. Will delete this thing from these 8 websites on this server and the others from other servers too. Cancelling all subscriptions.
When it’s about business, it must be fair for both sides… in this case, we will not invest in a tool that – when it’s not working – push it somewhere else to avoid responsibilities.
You don’t have to reply with more excuses. We already know how it works… it’s not your fault… lol
Hi
As mentioned above, we made this test, deactivating all plugins and activating them again.
At the moment 5 of 8 websites with the same theme and the same plugins are working well. All in the same server. Only 3 don’t work and this is a conflict of JetPack.
We were already expecting people from here telling us it’s not their problem and we should go somewhere else.
It’s always the same, we were reading your reviews and comments on forums, and the complaints are the same, it’s always sending people away because it’s “not your support team’s fault”.
JetPack is a waste of money. It’s shameful for a company receiving big investments to offer poor services like that.
Hi
Yes, I know. That’s why we resolved to contact the support team.
As you can see on the links above, there are 3 screenshots. They give you an idea about what is wrong.
Hi
Please find the screenshots attached.
This is the .htaccess of a website that is working perfectly.
https://postimg.cc/62sNKSpnThis is the .htacces of a website that has the red exclamation sign on Jetpack/Wordpress. com
https://postimg.cc/XGw6Y8rhThis is the Jetpack Debug scan of the second one, which is not working.
https://postimg.cc/p5RbhF8d1. Can you see the /xmlrpc.php file at the root of your WordPress installation when accessing your site via FTP? If you don’t, then please try re-installing WordPress. You can do this by going to the Dashboard -> Upgrades page, then click the “Reinstall” button.
Yes, I can see the file via Cpanel.
2. Do you use any security plugins that may block access to this file? If so, could you try to disable them? You might also want to check your site’s .htaccess file for any rules that might be blocking access to the xmlrpc.php file.
We tried to disable all plugins, and reactivate them one by one. Jetpack can connect, can read the insights, and can do everything, but keeps showing this red exclamation.
3. Does your hosting provider block access to this file? If you don’t find any plugin that may block access to the file on your site, I would recommend that you get in touch with your host.
I think you didn’t read my post. We have 8 websites on the same server, and all of them were working perfectly. Only 2 got this red exclamation sign.
Thus the way we can’t upgrade our Jetpack as it doesn’t work.
