Yes also after the updates of the plugins the issue still remaining.

when I use a clean browser (cleaned cookies, cache and history) it works perfectly, but when logout and take a new item, put in the shop and retry again with login, the issue is back.

The main issie are the Jetpack: by Automattic plugin together with main core of WooCommerce and The WooCommerce Payments.

Just to make sure, when you say that only WooCommerce, WooCommerce Payments, and Jetpack are active when you see the issue, are you leaving all of your other WooCommerce-related plugins disabled as well?

Only those 3 enabled and the issue is there…

Yes Redis Object Cache is installed and indeed also excluded WooCommerce.

Also as stated earlier, when ALL plugins are disabled except WooCommerce, WooCommerce Payment and JetPack also the issue appears. so this is not Redis or any other plugin.

I did a little more testing, its the combination of Jetpack and WooCommerce Payments thats causing the issues.

– Disabled all plugins, except WooCommerce and JetPack enabled – No issues
– Only WooCommerce, WooCommerce Payments and Jetpack enabled issue are back again.

Enabled all plugins including Elementor theme and also issue is there

It looks like there is a conflict between Jetpack and WooCommerce Payments. When both enabled there is an issue that the shopping card been emptied direct after login. When one of those 2 are disabled the issues not appearing.

So that Jetpack is the main cause, I dont think that Jetpack is the issue, more that there is conflict between both plugins.

Is there a way to solve this, we can’t launch untill this issue is solved and we would love to have this fixed.

Could you please clarify the exact flow you are doing to get this error? Are you adding an item to your cart and logging in only to find that you cart is empty?

Yes that’s exactly the issue that I’m currently facing at the moment.

Currently the website was not “LIVE” yet, we where testing end to end so we could launch the site, but after finding this issue we postpone the launch so we had the freedom to test freely.

We have tested of course also with the STOREFRONT template, so not only the Elementor plugin but the issue was the same.

We did some more tests;

– Disabled all plugins, except WooCommerce and JetPack enabled – No issues
– Only WooCommerce, WooCommerce Payments and Jetpack enabled issue are back again.
– Only WooCommerce, WooCommerce Payments enabled – no issues.

Hello @nielslange, I have followed your steps there is one plugin that causing the behavior of clearing the shopping card after login.

Currently all plugins are now active including the template expect the one that gives this specific issue.

But the plugin is “Jetpack” that gives problems and cant see the relation of this issue with Jetpack.

Of course my hope is that there will be a solution, due the options that this plugin provides.

What would be the next step? contact Jetpack?

Now pasting the code here i see flags while in my developer tools of the browser only the code is visible… is this a setting i need to change on server level or?

I never tried it without the plugin, but I had disabled the plugin now and the issue remains, so its more an WooCommerce “bug / feature” then from the plugin.

Appreciate the help and I will contact WooCommerce
